Uncrustables

This past week has been absolutely crazy. I was sick with a stomach bug and so was my husband Matt, so there wasn't much play time in our house. Although, when I went shopping, I came across a Wonder Decruster which you can buy at Walmart for $2. We usually always get the Smucker's Uncrustables, but they can get pretty pricey. I figured why not try and make my own.

Lay out your bread slices. Then spoon a little bit of jelly in the center of each slice. I used Strawberry just because that's my favorite.

Flatten the next slice with a rolling pin or your hand. Be sure to just flatten and not smash it. Spread your peanut butter on the same slice of bread and still try to keep everything in the center.

Place the jelly slice on top of the peanut butter. Then use the sandwich slicer to decrust first and seal the sides together.

These are a great way to make a bunch and then freeze. Wrap the sandwich individually and then place into a freezer bag. You can make a variety like peanut butter with strawberry or grape jelly.
